~I Think She's Hurt!~

I have told y'all before about my friend and her not so nice/abusive husband. I am really worried right now y'all. She isn't answering her phone at all since yesterday when I last spoke with her.
My husband called her job and they said "her husband" said she will be out sick for a while. That is not like her at all! She loves her job and has gone there while she was sick before.
She was at our house yesterday, drank a little bit while she was here to cope with her abusive husband (No we did not drink or buy it-she brought it with her), and she was in tears. Her husband kept calling and came to bring her home last night with him. She said she wanted to stay but in the end she left with him...
Now no one can get in touch with her and we are all freaking out! My husband is going over there after work today to make sure she is okay...That might not go well if her husband is there though. =(

I am so sorry to hear this. I think that when a person is friends with someone who might be in an abusive relationship a safe word should be established so that she can call you and use it and you know she needs help. Or, if you call and she acts funny, you can use it and know if she is alright or not.

@LovingMyBabies ...Yes, it sounds like. She is still protecting him. That is sad. Sometimes it takes some serious happening before a abused person will do what is right and make the abuser accountable. All you can do is be there for her.

@celticeagle We saw her today, she came over. She is fine physically. And she still does not want to leave him. We are stepping back and when she's actually ready to leave we will help.

@celticeagle Thanks. It is breaking my heart because she is like a sister to me. =( We were just told this earlier and we are going to establish that the next time we see her face to face. She is alive-but we don't know if she was abused because she doesn't want us to come over. Which I think even more that he hit her or something...

Sounds like this man is controlling her every move. Been there done that. Took me 12 years to get out of that marriage. I hope she is safe and that you can convince her to leave this man before something terrible happens to her.

@ElusiveButterfly Yes he does-it's bad. I hope he did not hurt her. I am just praying for the best right now. We have offered her to stay here so she can get away from him, I hope one day she takes us up on our offer.

I am having bad thoughts. You said she was drinking and her husband (her abusive husband) came to get her? Yikes!!!

Hope she's alright. You should be the one to go there, not your husband to avoid some malice from your friend's husband.

She needs to understand that he will kill her @LovingMyBabies . It doesn't get any better and he can say he's sorry all he wants to but the abuse will not stop. Just ask me, I know all about that.

I do feel sorry for the women who are too scared to leave because these dominating abusive husbands have brainwashed them to believe they will not manage it in this world without such men.
Do you think it`s a good idea if your husband goes there? l really hope he changes his mind and not go, things can get nasty very fast.
All said and done, i really,really hope she`s ok,it`s a bad place to be.
