I personally find coffee to be one of the most important discoveries of mankind.
It most likely originated in the middle east and has been distributed to the east, west then all around the world.
I personally like the taste of brewed coffee it has a more natural taste in it compared to the instant coffees .
But either way works for me although I would prefer brewed over instant anyday :)
Also I don't like sugar in your coffee, sugar makes you fat :)

I've never been a coffee fan. I hardly drink coffee and when I do it must be from Starbucks. i am more of a green tea lover.

@Dramista not after the brand. I just think they taste much better than others. It's just because I am not a coffee drinker.

I prefer brewed coffee than the instant variety. Plus the fact, that brewed coffee is healthier than instant coffee. I also like my coffee with milk and sugar. Unfortunately, I do not have the luxury of time to have brewed coffee everyday because brewing one takes time and of course more expensive if I buy them in famous coffee shops.
Good thing I discovered, packets of brewed coffee when I visited Japan. These packets are very convenient. Each pack includes ground coffee granules inside a built in filter of the paper sachet. Just open the packet, attach it to your mug or cup. Pour hot water, let it strain for 1 or 2 minutes. Voila, brewed coffee at your pleasure, anytime, anywhere without the hassle.
But when I ran out of these sachets, I also use instant coffee to have my caffeine fix.

Yes, the Japanese are uniquely inventive. Agree, they invented the instant noodles, along with countless other gadgets that make life very convenient. Speaking of the instant noodles, would you believe they also have a museum on how the noodles have originated? Unbelievable.

I like my coffee with sugar and creamer. I do have some brewed coffee too when it's available.

People wants everything fast these days that is why I think that for people who would prefer brewed coffee does not have much choice but to go for the instant one due to their busy schedule. With the innovations in coffee technology, with the different flavors they produce, I believe that the experience in drinking instant coffee is somehow similar to the brewed coffee. Plus, instant coffee is more practical. If you are in a budget looking for coffee satisfaction, it is the way to go.

Yep, if you want it fast and cheap go for instant coffee but I would prefer the brewed one any day.
Its like choosing a finely cooked meal over fast food.
If they were both given for free I would choose the good meal. Its healthier :)

I really enjoy a good cup of brewed coffee in the morning. But after supper I do not mind having one cup of instant coffee. I used to be a 20 cups a day drinker but have trimmed it down to about 5 cups a day. According to a very quick research on the net, coffee was first discovered in Ethiopia in the 11th century but since that discovery was only written down on paper in the 1600 it is hard to say if it is true.
