That is true, I had a sleepless night.
Last night, I went to bed too early because I felt so dizzy, I slept 9:30 P.M. but I wake up 11:30 P.M. until 4:30 A.M.That was so tiring and I had a severe headache now. The cause of my sleepless night was due to power interruption and it cause too much heat during the night and wee morning and also the bites of flying vampires who sucks my blood and their noise. It's so annoying.
And now, I'm very tired and sleepy but still can't sleep, I'm not used to sleep during daytime.
How about you friends, do you have also some sleepless nights?

@ida123 see? because that's the kind of headache that biogesic or alaxan cannot relieve. try drinking plenty of water, too.

I had a similar experience. Some time in April this year, we experienced 5 hour power interruptions. It was tough especially if you have a new born who also cannot sleep because of how hot it was. It truly is a struggle if you are not used to sleep during daytime but you just have to suck it in. Maybe you should just do the regular stuff and not think to much of sleeping because eventually your body will ask for it.

@ida123 Maybe you can also try to watch a movie or any video. It works for me. It tires my eyes so eventually I would fall asleep. I am used to work at night and it is very challenging during my day off so I just find watching a film or a TV series helpful. There are times when I could not really sleep. If that happens, at least I was able to watch a film and got something out of it.

Black out? that is just sad, there's no way I could sleep so stable when there's black out. I hate those darn mosquitos too, but we have a garden so there was nothing we could do about it. I would probably have slept but bathe with sweat.
Howver, I've been thnking of buying a rechargable fan someday.

@ida123 you could buy fish nets then use the alambre to help the net stationed around you so that the mosquitos won't enter. Im thinking of doing that too.

I can relate , because i also couldn't sleep when there's no electricty to run the electric fan. the heat will trigger my hot flushes and make me have a sleepless night also . But good thing i have a rechargeable electric fan with lamp to use whenever that happens.

May be due to your too much routine work, worry and stress so much. Thinking something have not done, who can help me then. Less rest, very busy lo.
Food like ginger or lemon grass, moringa are warm and energy food , not good for dinner in the hot season. Too much energy can't sleep lo

Yup When I have lots of tasks to do... I also don't want to sleep too early because I will be waking up too early, and worse, in the middle of the night and I could no longer fall asleep.

install a power backup system for your room which gives backup for at least 8 hours. Also use vaporisers which repel insects including mosquitoes.

There are times that I'm having difficulty in sleeping. Especially if I have so many things in my mind.
