Mathew 5:44 from the King James Version of the Holy Bible says, and I quote, "But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you." - end quote. Source: Bible Gateway:
You have to be willing to humble yourself quite a lot to do this. I find it difficult but not impossible to do myself. Harboring ill will towards an enemy can destroy you if you let it.
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Thats right! In addition to the wonderdul comments above, I make reference to Matthew 5:44. Jesus was the One who made that statement. And as difficult as it seems to love our enemies, If it weren't possible for man to love his enemies, The Spirit OF God[through Jesus] wouldn't have asked us to do it, because God in His manifold wisdom, wouldn't demand an impossible task from Man[his creature]. So for God to have intructed us to love our enemies inspite of how difficult it seems, means that grace and ability to do it lies within every man. Jesus through that statement also wants us to have a possibility consciousness even in seemingly hopeless situations, letting us know that every man is loveable despite the facade of imperfections.

for me it's not easy to love your enemies.why because you think the past they did to you. when i see them i just ignored them i pretend i did not see them because its hard to forget what they did.so for me i just ignored them but never to love them
