Dads home from hospital....

My brother texted me to say my dad was discharged from hospital yesterday ...
His blood pressure has stabalised ... they are pleased with how the repairs to is heart valves are working..., he is still a bit of breath when walking, but he is not fully recovered yet... he is very tired... but is at last getting a good nights sleep now, as he is not being woken up for various check ups and observations and things like that...
The trick will be to keep him occupied while not doing any physical labour of any description, to give his chest, heart and muscles time to heal back together....
He also enjoyed a home cooked meal....
thank you all again for your care and concern and prayers and good wishes .... they were and are much appreciated....

thank you... @marlina ..., I will pass on your wishes.... I'm glad you think he's handsome... I think so too... this photo was taken 3 years ago... but he still looks a lot younger than his actual age... well... perhaps not quite so much at the moment... he is looking very tired ... but still handsome... lol's...

@sueznewz2 fantastic! yepperz, one can't get decent sleep whilst'n the hospital. always either somebody comin' to take yer vitals 'r yer i.v. bag runs out 'n the alarm goes off, lol. i jest adore him, e'en though we've ne'er met nor spoken to each other. i should get his address'n such so's i can send him a card :D

thanks @crazyhorseladycx he's very happy... and has had several good nights sleep ... so is less exhausted... all hugs and love received and delivered.... and appreciated.... and returned with interest... lol ....

thank you for your good wishes.... getting him to rest and take it easy .... even when he was well has not been easy.... but at the moment I think he is still tired from his op.... but it will get harder ... when he starts to 'feel' better... lol's ... wish me luck ...

Good news to hear that your dad is home. I'm sure a home cooked meal was greatly appreciated by him and hope that he continues with a speedy recovery.
