Guys i want to get your opinion on the issue of being born again, what does it mean when you say someone is born again? can someone shed more light on this topic please!

The bible is left up to interpretation and for that reason the words mean different things to different people across the world. When I hear people say they are born again to me it means that they have decided to begin over on a new path of change in their behavior in their decision making in their lives. I am sure that to someone else that will mean another thing. Some believe going back to their faith wiping the slate clean. The meaning of that phrase will have infinite variance.

Yes you are correct, bible speaking says and i quote "if any man be in Christ he is a new creation old things have passed away and behold all things have become new" what it means is that being born again is being born spiritually when you accept Christ as your personal Lord and savior, then you receive the Holy Spirit from God who will direct your affairs because on your own you can do nothing, you cannot even save your self, no wonder Paul said and i quote "For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do" Romans 7:19, so you see the flesh is indeed weak, but the spirit is stronger, so be filled with the Holy Ghost, by accepting Jesus Christ and that alone makes the difference, then you see your self doing what you ought to do without cohesion, and you see the old habits terminated naturally, that is what new birth is all about, thanks for this opportunity to share.

@goodson_ben Some people have to be reborn over and over before they get it right. As long as they are happy it is really all that matters
