Some people are brave enough to decide when it is over. My mother decided when to stop recieving her dialysis and it was the best for her. Celebrate his life as it has been so wonderful.

It's one of the hardest things to have to do in life, we had to do the same for my mom, pull the plug although it was the right decision.

Is sad that he's had such poor health the last few years, but during that time he has obviously came to realize that he can have some say in finding his eternal peace. I can only hope that his passing is quiet and that he is surrounded by all of those that love him and will support each other. I'm very sorry, sending prayers for his a peaceful passing for him today.

I am so sorry Dianne, I have been in and out and I did not know he was ill. This must be a hard day for your and devastating for your husband. Knowing that today is the day is terrible.

Thank you, Anna. Not to worry. I haven't been here much myself. He passed peacefully last night, and for that we are grateful. We are devastated, but happy we had 4 extra years with him.
