Monday again; what is it with Mondays?

What is it with Mondays? How do you deal with the start of your work week?
After a nice, relaxing and productive weekend, its Monday again. Back to work for me. I dislike dealing with Mondays. I have to wake up early to avoid rush hour traffic, deal with other commuters and hope I reach work still fresh, and ready to face work. My saving graces are - at least there’s free air conditioning in the office, my colleagues are nice and most importantly it’s only eight hours work. Plus, I enjoy my work, my bosses are nice and I get a salary. I should be thankful I have a job, right?
At least, four more days to go and it’s the weekend. ^___^

I love Mondays coz I could go to my yoga class in the morning. I dread the weekends. I have more control of my weekdays than my weekends. When I'm too lazy to work on weekdays I just stay at home or go somewhere else but I mustn't be without my phone for any emergency situations in the office.

It appears you have so much to look forward to once you finally get to work. It seems that the dirty word is, commute. I wonder how easy our Monday's will be once they finally invent a (Star Trek transporter) teleportation machine. Imagine beaming directly to work, then back home again later. So nice, unless you forget to get dressed before teleporting to work. LOL
Monday indeed. Before I most hastily retired a few years ago I actually looked forward to Monday and the sense of accomplishment it would bring me. On the flip side though, I dreaded the alarm clock Monday morning because It meant the end of my weekly 2 day vacation (nowadays it's called staycation). Back then there was never enough time to do the things I wanted to do, crammed into 48+ hours.
The best way I coped with the mundane Monday blues was to tell myself that I would make a difference in the lives I touched on that dreaded Monday and forward through the week.

That would be cool, teleporting to work. I will most definitely enjoy going to work more without the hassle of commuting if there is a teleport machine.
Wow, you have a nice positive attitude for Mondays. I can adopt that idea. Or maybe change my perspective on Mondays.
Ah yes, the dreaded alarm clock. A most hated enemy (for me at least), yet very indispensable and I can't manage without it. LOL.
Thanks for the valuable insights. Have a good week. ^____^

If you like your work, than everyday for you would be full of fun. If you don't, the weekdays would be a hard time to experience. So, why not?
