It indicates that a woman is married. The scientific reason offered is that; By wearing in both feet, their menstrual cycle is regularized with even intervals and thus gives scope conceiving. Just because of wearing in the second toe of a feat, the particular nerve in the second finger from toe, that also connects the uterus and passes through heart Iit controls the uteru and keep it healthy by producing evenly balanced blood pressure to the uterus. Silver being a good conduct, it absorbs the energy from the polar energies from the earth and passes it to the body, thus refreshing whole body system. It was introuced in the U.S in the year 1973 after studying the scientific backgroun of it. But, nowadays it is worn as fashion or decorative ornament.
