Meaning of your name

We name our children, depending upon our faith, our interest, our tradition or a practise which is followed for years. Every name has a reason, a history or an unique thought behind it. For example, my name is Umesh. The meaning of which is "Lord Shiva". He is one of the major three deities of hinduism. I was born on Monday, the day which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. What your name means? Whats the story behind it? What it means in your community?

I have no idea what the meaning of my name is because I never checked it out. But it was my father who named me and since he's a person who loves reading all sorts of books, he named me after the Queen of France.
