Fried Chicken is a dish consisting of chicken pieces usually from broiler chickens which have been floured or battered and then pan-fried, deep fried, or pressure fried. The breading adds a crisp coating or crust to the exterior. Crisp well-seasoned skin, rendered of excess fat, is a hallmark of well made fried chicken. This is the food that most people order in fast food chains. During parties, especially birthdays, fried chicken is always included in the menu. It is most loved by children and adults too. Different restaurants have different styles or technique in preparing fried chicken but generally it tastes almost the same. Why fried chicken?... It is because I love it too. How about you? You can just put some salt for it to become tasty. Then you can have it deep fry already. That's without flour.

@Ianist It's the first time I heard that chicken bones are dried and fried. What part of chicken are those bones?

@Smiley881 well, not ALL of the bones, just some of them that are dry enough to be crispy

I try to stay away from fried chicken especially those from fast food chains. Those chickens are injected with hormones to speed up their growth which is really bad for me.

@magallon those are not hormonal injections. It's just water to add weight to the chicken so they could cheat people.

Yeah... I also know that.. I Heard it from TV news that there is something that they inject especially on the wings and chicken legs or what they call drumsticks. I love fried chicken wings. Whenever we order or cook fried chicken, that's the part that I always choose. But when I heard that news, I started to avoid wings or drumsticks.

@toniganzon Oh I haven't heard of that. The one that I knew is about those which will be delivered to the market or food stores. They inject something in order to make it look bigger and have a bigger weight.

True.. There are different ways of cooking fried chicken. Sometimes I just want it with salt and have it deep fried. No chicken breading.

Those are chicken joy. Yummy but I can't eat that often. In Pinas, no party without chicken joy, spaghetti and mango float.

Yes, I love fried chicken and we all love it. When I prepare and served it and accompanied by some kind of dish, fried chicken food is the first to consume.
