What do you feel when you get no responses on your discussion?

Sometimes we all might get no responses in some of the discussions we might have started. Most times we all wanted to have more responses on the discussions and might wonder what went wrong on the article we have written.
Have you ever come across the situation where you had no responses on the discussion and what you have done yourself to write articles of more interest of others?

Most of the time at some point we will get a comment-sometimes it just takes longer than at other times.

I don't write a discussion just for the sake of writing it.

I'm not sure that I have put up a discussion with zero response at all.
As much as possible i don't put up discussions one after another. Nor do i make a daily discussion. I don't make discussions of what I do every single day, every morning, evening, afternoon, or even when i just nap. I try to make my discussion as general as possible so everybody could relate to it.

It depends though, a short post which isn't particularly an interesting read and just asks a question, tend to get less responses, or none at all. This is almost always true if the person keeps repeating that kind of posts. But regular day to day experiences or opinions or questions with which we can relate to very much, these tend to spark some good quality and quantity responses. Some of my posts didn't get more than 2 responses. Again some exceeded 15. That way I have tried differentiating what to write and what not to. I don't feel much bad if it isn't popular, but try to write something better next time. Also, participating in others' posts help. A lot.

Shrug it off and move onto the next post. There's always tomorrow.
