Cats or Dogs

My mom called me and asked me to take the birds to my city. She doesn't want birds and instead she wants cat and dog at home. My father says he don't want both cat and dog but either one of them. So I have this question now, what to do, have cats or dogs or both? Do you like cats or dogs? or both?

I like Dog. They are both sweet to me, but I prefer to choose a Dog. Dogs for is my best friend. they are charm too at sometimes. you can feel that dogs are also understandable. Dogs has quick respond. I find myself that dogs are really cute. It's so cute when the puppies howled. I read a post that CAT hates the smell of the human that is why they keep cleaning themselves. I do believe that Dogs are cheerful, they are also there in time we need them to. :)

If I have to make one choice, I'd go with dog too. But I can't stand it when they die. I am bad at letting go of dogs.

@skysnap Exactly. DOGS are more precious ones. It makes our emotional set whenever there's a situation or something else. :)

Maybe you should ask the question to your mom to see which one she prefers if she cannot have both.

Cats have my heart and yet I enjoy working with dogs. I love teaching dogs though I am far from an expert at it. Both cats and dogs are grand in their own way.

I like both but I tend to favor cats more. I remember when my husband and I first got married and we got our first place together 15 years ago,lol We discussed the idea of getting a pet he is more of a dog person and I told him then can we comprise and you can get a dog if I can have a cat so 15 years later we have 3 cats and one dog. I have grown quit attached to her though.

Depends. Do you want a creature that is independent and can be left home for a couple days on his own, if needed? Cat. Or do you want a creature that wants to be with you all the time? Dog.

that's the nice way to sum up. I think I favor cat for the same reason.

I'm a dog person! getting a dog is big responsibility and once you fall in love with your pet you need to be emotionally prepared.

It is more practical to have a dog. A dog can help you guard the house when you are out, while a cat just sleeps on. The problem is that a dog eats a lot, so you can think about getting 2 chihuahua instead of a big dog. Chihuahua is very fierce though they are very small.

@skysnap Only big dogs will look after kids. Small dogs are no use in this respect.

yes dogs are like family member. take care of your home.. look after kids sometimes by making noise when they are in trouble or stop them from doing any trouble. my aunts dog used to keep my cousin from going out on road.

I hate cats because they can steal foods even if I put it above me I prefer dogs only because they serve as my security guards. I like birds too but I don't know how to feed them. At least dogs could eat what I eat.
