Well the entire 2 weeks that I was away on vacation with family I was geting pains in my hands, wrists, and elbow. I know have pain in my ankle and my knee. I am thinking that something is really wrong so I called my doctor and asked if I should go to the hospital or see her to figure out what is wrong since my rheumatology appointment isn't until September. All they advised was that I ask my insurance who they cover for rheumatology and see if I can go to someone else to be seen sooner. Once I have someone then my doctor will give me a referral for them. So today I have to call my insurance to do that. I guess I am stuck with these pains until then. When it gets bad I can barely move whichever joints are hurting because it hurt so much to do so. I am thinking maybe I have some form of arthritis. Have you ever had an experience like this? Did you ever have to wait 4-5 months to see a doctor?

I am sorry you are having such a lot of pain. I think our health system overall seems to be better than yours. It would be unusual to have to wait this long to see a doctor or even a specialist.

I have a minor case of arthritis and it feels similar. My dad has it pretty bad and he drinks a tablespoon of 100% pure cherry juice a day and he swears it makes a difference.

@IvySaysHi I hadn't at first but I guess it's very effective. It can't hurt to give it a try if your pains get too bad.

That's a long time. If there's pain, it means something is wrong and you need to see a doctor.

That's far too long to have to wait, I hope you can be seen sooner. Good luck.
