Have you thought of buying land?

I was thinking something to build up and pay off. I found this 3.38 piece of land about 45 minutes north of me for $60,000.
I thought about using it for camping, or getting away putting a trailer on it for the time being.
It has 2 ponds, and very well treed lot.

I know they wont give a mortgage, and loan is a certain percentage or they wont least when I talked to the bank thats what they told me.

I thought of that as well. The cost of homes are ridiculous in this area from$299,000 to $899,000.
