The peace and quiet

After two long, busy months of travelling and getting things done I am finally sitting down with a cup of coffee and some quiet time . It feels like I have been away for a long time, though its just a couple of months. During this time I have been collecting plants like crazy and trying to learn to graft plants. I haven't been successful as yet, but I know its just around the corner. I am learning. I had taken up a few teaching assignments and got really busy with that. While I enjoyed my time away I also missed many of my friends here. I am glad to be back here again and to have some peace and quiet after a long time. Don't get me wrong I have been happy doing all that I have done.. but I do love my peaceful quiet times. How have you been?

So , those are what kept you so busy the past months . That's nice because you are now teaching . Do you ind if i ask what are you teaching , my friend ? I hope you can now be here at least every other day or everyday .

@SIMPLYD I've been teaching credit courses in Psychology and mental health .. I have also been leading a scripture class in the summer. I am through with both. I hope to be here everyday.. if nothing else comes up.

I am glad you finally have it after an obviously busy months. I got excited when I heard you are trying to learn how to graft plants. I've been searching the net on how to do that but maybe I should refer to an expert to help me out. Meanwhile i will enjoy mylot first because I was also inactive for few weeks. I missed your meaningful posts for quite sometime. Happy to read one from you again!

@sofssu Thank you for the tips. I will start experimenting. I was for a while busy with the wedding preparation of my niece but now it is done, I am not starting to prepare for the upcoming birthday of my husband but I will try to find time to come here every day as much as I could. See you more!

@salonga All my education in grafting came from youtube. I've realized that you learn more from mistakes than from videos. So start with excess plants which you are willing to sacrifice. So you have been inactive for sometime too? I hope you will be around now. I am hoping to see you and read your posts too.

@Jessicalynnt Agreed. However, a shih tzu doesn't look like one if you cut his hair.. I am planning on trimming his mane at least that would keep his face a bit clean I guess.

@BelleStarr Yes.. I did. I couldn't say no to some of those assignments. I enjoy being with younger people so I did have a great time though it was tiring.

For the moment I do not have quiet time. My husband has been unwell and we had many appointments with doctors and hospital. Now everything should be back to normal and I hope to find more time to relax.

I've been busy here too. It's been about a month since I've been on too. Sometimes we just need to take a step back from the computer and do other things. At least it's summer now. In some ways I'm busier in the summer, but I also get an extra day off which gives me more time that day too.

@sofssu It is nice having the extra day off, but it means I work more the other 4 days to make up the hours. But being part time that only means an extra 45 minutes a day.
