Paperless...

...or do you prefer hard copies? To do a part in saving the earth, I opted for e-statements for my credit cards. Then on the first month after the option, I overlooked and forgotten all about the viewings and payments till the following month when I received a hard copy reminder letter from them, including late payment charges and interest was charged. Guess I'm not used to these advanced technologies yet.

there is an advantage and disadvantage of this technology,why?before this you can keep those files safely but for now you cannot keep it without harddrives,because many are up to something

Personally I think important documents are better in hard copy as hard drives may crash anytime too.

In my case, it's only paperless as far as the bank is concerned because, every month, I always print hard copies of my bank statements which I access online. I feel safer that I have had copies on file because you never know if there might be a glitch in the electronic system of the bank which may lead to wiping out records. Better safe than sorry for me.

I agree with you here. The old time hard copies are better for safe keeping as anything may happen anytime on electronic.

if you want to go paperless for credit card, you have to set up sms alert and giro to auto debit from your account. If not, you will forget about it.
