Stray kitten

Somehow a very small kitten got into space under stairs which we use for storing all the old useless stuff.By looking at it i think its 1 week old.Earlier we thought since its very small, its mother would come for it,but the cat never came for it.It was crying whole night.I tried luring it out of there but always hides behind old broken bucket where I can't reach it.I also got some milk in a bowl for it, but its still crying and not drinking it.Later I got some bread pieces dipped in milk for it to eat, its still not eating it.What to do?

Try sitting down close to where it's hiding and being patient. The kitten is probably terrified. When I first got my cat, I sat down and waited until she came up to me on her own. See if you can get the kitten to come up to you when it's comfortable. Poor thing. She's probably starving. :-(

At first i also thought it was probably scared of me so I left the milk bowl near it and leave. But later on in the evening I saw two fat cats one black and one with brown spots running on the stairs and I thought maybe one of them was its mommy and they were there to take kitten with them.Just to make sure kitten was there or it had left, I looked under the stairs. It was not there and the milk bowl was also empty.I was happy thinking at least she was not starved.Later on I found it hidden behind my car appearing thinner than before shivering. It seems those two fat cats have been drinking the milk I was leaving behind for the kitten and also scaring it.I am going to try and bring her out now.I am also going call a vet at home for it.

Perhaps the kitten has found a home. If there's room for the kitten then perhaps keeping the kitten will not only be beneficial to the kitten but to you as well. Keep making sure it's safe. Blessings!

The mother never came back for her kitten? I wonder if the mother was killed or if there is something wrong with the kitten why it is abandoned by its mother.

If it is only one week old, it would probably need to nurse from a bottle. Also, tiny kittens need to be stimulated to go to the bathroom. Their mom does this by licking their butt. It can be done by rubbing them with a finger under running water. If that is not done the kitten will die.

Don't worry I called a vet who is also my friend he took the kitten away with him for proper treatment at his clinic. Later in the day I visited him only to find the kitten playing with two cats at his clinic. It looked better than it was at my place. It was no longer shivering and looked well fed and happy.
