Anthony, Are you there? Hello. Hello. then the dial tone.

I get calls from Zombie Debt Collectors who stop at nothing to get my attention, from asking me to donate, to pretending to be someone I know by asking me by name, by calling several times a day every day, and just hanging up and calling back in 5 minutes to do the same.
Today, most recently, the phone rang and the message went as follows, "This is your bla bla bla advisor, how are you doing today? Anthony? Are you there?"
What are they doing? Seems they want me to answer but I ain't gonna. After all I am just a ZOMBIE. right?

You can't even go on a Do Not Call List anymore because a lot of those calls are automated. I got one this morning. I saw the name on the caller ID and didn't answer it, but it wouldn't stop ringing, so I picked up the receiver and slammed it down right away. Took care of those automated Zombies

What I do is simple: I ignore the phone 3 times and delete any voice mail messages. The next time, I pickup the call and kindly tell them to stop calling me and I am on the do not call list. I then write down the date/time by the phone. If they call again, I pull out my angry eyes and first tell them that on this date/time I requested your company to take us off the call list. If the company pushes this subject, I will explain that I am reporting them to the national do not list!
Finally, if they call again, I do report them to the list. I am glad that the telemarketers or who ever has called me 90% stop after I kindly tell them about the do not call list. 10% of the time I have had to take my angry eyes out and they magically stop.

Yes, a very good plan to follow. I know many of the calls I get are from collectors though. But many just telemarketers, I believe if you press the number 2 button on the phone while their message is live, you can have them stop calling but not exactly sure this will work every single time.

Keep calm and ignore all messages or cut the phone line.
