Busy busy day, lot of things accomplished!

We started off early, 8:30 am, and headed to Walmart. My husband needed some more stuff for the pool. Hopefully this is the last for a while. Then to Ingles to do grocery shopping. We only spent 1/2 the amount we normally spend, so I'm sure sooner or later I'll realize what I forgot to buy! We had an early lunch then headed out to power wash the pool house area. That was a bigger job than the back porch yesterday. I gave it a quick wash last summer so this year it needed the full works. Now everything is clean - or as clean as we can get it! Around his smoker it's impossible to get the 'grease' stains up from the previous owners. As neat as they kept the house inside, not so the outside stuff. Once we finished that I changed and went right in the pool. The water was very refreshing and it felt good after sweating so much! As I looked around I realized my husband's hammock (or his office as he calls it) is in bad shape. Then I thought back and remembered he's been using it for the last 10 or 11 years....time for a new one. So in I came and jumped on Amazon and ordered him one - it can be a Father's Day gift from Ruby! We are having surf 'n turf for dinner...Filet and Shrimp, which he is cleaning right now. All I have to do is get the salads made and figure out some kind of potato dish. Tomorrow we power wash the front porch and then the machine gets put away until next year! The end is in reach.....
