First Vacation HELP

So I have been to local areas here in Pennsylvania to camp and hike. The only other place I have been is Virginia to Luray Caverns for a day trip. My boyfriends parents said about taking their grandchildren to Disney April of 2017 and invited us and my daughter. They are driving so all we have to worry about is tickets and food as they have a lock in attached to a house down there for us to stay in. However, I don't have any clue how to get tickets for the cheapest price how long at each park ( I heard there were 4 parks and 2 water parks.) What I should pack how much to save or anything.
