Well the roof is finally done

So for those who wanted to see, here is the house with a new roof. Yes I know, that bush is pretty but needs trimmed as it is taking over the driveway. Again. Whoever planted it planted it too close to the driveway to begin with. Today went ok. Hubby had an intereview for a hospital job I found on Tuesday. He got a call yesterday for an interview today. He should hear something by next Tuesday. It's not what he wants, but it would solve a few problems, and be income of course. He can always keep looking. Although, I am hoping he likes it and it works out well for him. I think it would be a scrub wearing job, which would be provided by the hospital, I think, so money saved there. So that's a thing!

@Jessicalynnt I must just say, even with your hardships, you seem to be keeping your head and things are getting done. Well done to you.

Nice! The roof looks amazing. Congratulations to your husband on the interview. I know what it is like not receiving an income: worry and anxiousness. I hope that he gets it!

Hmmm... the roof looks good, Jess. What about rooting some of the limbs of your shrub and when those are ready to be planted, you simply do away with the original shrub? Just make sure you don't plant the new limbs too close to the driveway like the previous owner did.

that's a good idea actually! I wouldnt mind it on the fence line for sure, it would be a great privacy thing

@Jessicalynnt Yes, but be sure the neighbors like it too, or you will start getting complaints about it encroaching into their yard!

Your roof is neat and dainty and I like the flowering bush - never mind that it's so close to the driveway. It does not disturb the car anyway :)

Lol, I do back into it when it gets to where it is too far into the driveway

it really is, we may only be 10 minutes from town, but it feels like we are out in the middle of nowhere

That sounds promising and it may turn out to be something he likes once he learns about it.

The house and new roof look good. That is quite a big bush but lovely, not difficult to trim. Sending some positive vibes for your husband to get the job and loves it.

The roof looks good. It is so easy to plant stuff too close to other things. At the time it seems you are leaving plenty of room.
