So i cannot bear the pain of my injured hand and i went to see a doctor in the OPD in one of the nearest hospital here. Fine the staff were very friendly and is easy to talk with. I was given a registration form to fill out then waited for my turn to be called inside the doctor's clinic. Inside waiting for me is a student doctor, she is very nice and tries her best to assess my situation. She took off the cover and when she sees it, she says that it is about to get inflamed. She wrote some medications and told me to wait for the doctor to conform that she gave the right medicine.. When the doctor finally came in, she handed him the prescriptions for his approval. But before he take a look at it, he first checked my hand, asking if i happen to bumped my head on the road or if i do not feel pain on the other part of my body. He also checked my wrist if it needs to be x-rayed. since he cannot see other injuries, he wrote another prescription, a tetanus toxoid to prevent from tetanus to occur. I bring the prescription at their own pharmacy and got shocked at the price. It costs 1,347.56 pesos, my goodness what i had is just good for the consultation fee because i was planning to buy it later this afternoon. Since i cannot buy it at that moment i came asking if i could just buy it outside, she says yes but they cannot have it injected on me. if i want the tetanus to be injected at the OPD i will buy it at their pharmacy. I just told them since we had a nurse at the office, i will just have the nurse injects it to me. The next paper they give is a weaver that i refused to be injected. hospital policy sometimes sucks but i understands that they are to be blamed if i get infected with tetanu since it is their clinic that i have my injuries checked. I will buy it later then.

Yes I got the shock out of it when I learned about the price. The last I got that for my kid toes was just around 500 or 600.
