Plastic or Real ?

This is what I was thinking when I saw this plant with a flower , for sale by the road side when I was going to a mall last Sunday . I was so intrigued because it is so beautiful , big and colorful . I touched it to see if it is plastic because it seemingly was ! It’s real and I found out it’s a flower of the bromeliad plant . My mother have those plants but I have never seen one of them with a flower . That reminds me to show her the picture . I know , she will tell me to buy her one next time . But it costs 500 pesos or $10.75 . Are you fond of buying flowering plants for you to grow ?

I am like you too. But i don't know how to grow plants. I don't havr the ability to grow them. I suppose you know how to plant?

some plastic flowers look real.if there are beautiful flowers are good to be planted, my siblings do that while i can water them

@SIMPLYD It's hard for me to get online these days because my 15 months old grandson requires most of my attention. When he takes a nap so do I. I'm trying to be on myLot as much as I can. I didn't think anyone would notice my disappearance.

I like buying them but don't have the time to take care of them. Our house help has killed almost all of the plants that I have bought.

That picture did give me the impression they those were real. I've seen such plants in my past. My mom and sis are crazy about growing plants..so..we have as many as we could..

@SIMPLYD He he...sure..only if any flowers are left.. My mom plucks the flower everyday. I don't know which kind of flower is it, but it grows 3-6 flowers everyday. Here in India, we give flowers to God, as to show him that we love him. And she's into it. I am against it though..

Yup... got that trait from my mother. Hihi she loves to buy plants, flowering or not, she likes them. Even fruit bearing trees that are grafted, she also buys them.

That is beautiful. So expensive is that there? I mostly asked my friends in Pinas for cuttings, bulbs or seeds from flowers which I do not have. I have green thumbs as what many friends told me.

I like to have a garden with lots of flowers in it. But I can't do that here for we don't have a place to garden. That flower looks plastic to me. But if you look at it closer, it's real.

I think most of us likes a garden. It's just that not everyone of us have the ability to grow plants. Yes, it seems plastic when i saw it , i have to get a closer look and touched it .
