My husband and I are planning to fly to Arkansas to see his relatives. I haven't flown in a few years and would love some advice and helpful hints about packing, best kind of luggage, etc.
I sure don't want to get to the airport and find that my carry-on bag is two inches or two pounds over the limit and have to pay to have it checked instead.
Thanks, guys!

Yes, I've checked with their web site, just wondered if anyone had some tips for traveling.

@1creekgirl I travel quite a lot, but everybody is different. Basically I decide what I want to take, then go through it and put half of it back in the cupboard!

@jaboUK I need to remember that! I usually bring home things I didn't even wear.

Thanks, we're packing as light as possible. Well, as light as a woman can!

@1creekgirl I've been known to sit on a case or two before now! :)

Thanks, I've read that's a good idea. But then I read that it's not. So, who knows?
