If you are having your desire and you really want to conquer on it by coming on top of it, for this purpose you have to follow these three steps :-
(a) TALENT:- talent is very first stair to elevate your desires. Only thinking is not enough. You have to build it, it can be by god gifted or you have to take training for it.
(b) AMBITION:- you should have strong desire for it that let you to do really hard work and you feel no tiredness after doing that again & again.
(c) INITIATIVE:- This is the practical shape of your desire. At this step take small-small step towards your desire and do it regularly and here you go with your success and desire
so follow these steps according to the nature of your desires and go with your dreams if you have strong desire and have courage yo regular practice that. you will definitely get your success

When you reach a certain level, you realise that talent is a useless virtue to possess. I believe a major part of success has nothing to do with talents. Talent limits your capabilities. It breeds an ego. Let's take an example to support the fact. Vinod Kambli was 18 when he was hit by a bouncer. Yes, 18!! He didn't know how to play a bouncer. Even he never tried to practice it even after this incident and his career ended at a very young age; all because, talent had already solved everything for him; opened the doors to play field. But talent alone is not sufficient. That's why when he faced that bouncer he knew nothing he could do. Sachin Tendulkar practiced 50 days in a row without a break. He used to wake up, practice 5 hours, eat, again practice. It's not Tendulkar's talent that has produced more than 30k runs, but his practice, passion and dedication.
Talent can open the first door for you, may be the second too. But if you think its going to open the last door, no it isn't.

How to find out what is our talent??
Like we may be good at doing many things, what is our THE 'talent', that we have to work on?

ohk firstly make some list of things in which you think that you are talented and after that you do that things on small-small level. suppose you think you are talented in singing then you should join some small singing classes and like this do all your things which you have written on list and then find out that ONE talent to which you don't want to lose and you was doing that work with full energy and you was feeling no tiredness by doing that work whole day. That will be your talent and you have to practice it now in order to make it your ambition

@vijay_2016 See my response Vijay. You may get some idea why some people like us can't figure out what is our real talent. It's an excerpt from a lecture delivered by a renowned motivational speaker at IIM-A. Before hearing this lecture, i too was very confused regarding this word 'talent'. I was good at many nothings but not very good at anything that i can claim as my talent. Then one day I heard this lecture and it solved all my questions.

@ShivamChauhan Thanks Shivam, I have gone through your comment. Sachin understood cricket is his passion. But I am still not identified what is my passion. How can I find that ? I have a job, i am reasonably good at, but sometimes I strongly feel I should start a business. Not sure which business! I sometimes feel I should take up teaching as a profession. I sometimes feel like I should start a website..different things come to my mind at different times. And I am reasonably talented to do all of them, to certain level.
If passion is more important than talent(which is evident in case of many successful people), how do I find what is my passion?

talent may be a small gift gifted to some one but the major part of success is not in it rather it goes with the hard work,a bit of madness.i think success is undefined and unique journey of every individuals.certain parameters which you have mentioned may shoot someone but not everyone.
