Banning Google and Youtube / myLot

So this is what's going on in my country. So a big organization in my country is asking the government to block Google and Youtube. The reason why? let me explain... So a few months back there's a lot of rape-murder cases in my country, about 4-5 cases. All of them are cruel and heartless, and most of them are done by young people, some as young as middle schoolers. This organization said, most of the kids who did the rape was 'inspired' by google or youtube. Do you think this makes sense? I don't. It's like saying it's internet's fault that they did that. It's sad how one of the acronym of the group is "intellectual" Oh, and another funny thing. Their official mail is on Gmail

The fault for all these crimes ultimately lies with the community these kids were raised in and the parents who raised them?

@Ianist It's like so many other things these days. The government is too lazy to go after the few who do wrong. Instead they just stop everyone from being able to use the thing.

@DWDavis luckily it's not the government. It's a big religious organization that asked the government to ban it. I just hope our government wont comply to it.
