Do You Like To Draw?

I love to color, but I haven't really ever considered myself a good artist. But I'm very creative, so I started looking at youtube videos to see if I can teach myself how to draw Mandalas. They are my favorite thing to color. I plan on working hard to learn how to do this, because I want to teach myself to create coloring books that I can eventually sell online. I did find a really nifty program online, however, that I can use to create mandalas until I can learn how to draw them myself. I'm so excited! Here is a really simple one I created; since I'm just learning, I'm keeping it simple.

Thank you :-) I don't draw well at all but I know I can at least try. If I suck, I suck. No harm in trying :-)

Very good, you should do well with coloring books. I enjoy painting, I like doing nature scenes, old barns and so on. Good luck with your mandalas..

I never really considered myself an artist. Well, not a drawing artist anyway lol. But I'm very creative, and I love learning new things, so this seems like a logical next step.

I like to be creative too, though I do not consider myself an artist by any means, and I can't draw worth a hill of beans. Recently I went to an art journalling class that I enjoyed very much. I wasn't able to go last time, but I am planning to the next time there's a class on Monday.

That's why I like the online program. Doesn't require anything except a tiny bit of technical know how and a tiny bit of knowing what looks good.

It's a program I found online that helps me create them. I want to learn to draw them, but I haven't gotten up the nerve to try yet. I'm learning how they're laid out, though, so that when I start drawing them, I won't be so confused and try to add detail where I don't need it.

Good for you. I cannot draw worth a darn. I can only create on the computer.

I like to draw and I still need to improve my drawing skills. Learning color theory is something I need to keep practicing. I like your mandala. The last time I made a mandala the colors were a bit darker. I guess it depends on what people like.

I created that to learn how to make coloring pages for a coloring book. So it's black and white for a reason :) I will post some pictures of some mandalas I've colored before.
