Giving Terrorists the Middle Finger

Fifty people murdered by a jerk who is too chicken to walk up to you and give an intellectual, rational discussion about why his religion is better than yours. And the good people of Orlando give these radical kooks the middle finger in response. I'm watching WESH (which was my favorite TV station when I was growing up in Daytona Beach [I had a crush on the weatherman, if you must know ]) coverage online right now, and they're showing citizens coming to the hospital to donate blood. It's hot.. Let me explain the heat in Orlando, as I lived it firsthand. I went through boot camp in Orlando in the middle of summer (in fact, that was 37 years ago this week). When the temperature got above 75 degrees we were not to 'double time' or run, due to the humidity. When it was above 85 we weren't allowed to be outside for any extended period of time. At graduation we had people passing out left and right due to the heat. But those people are standing in that heat, standing in line, waiting to donate blood for the injured. Take that, you mother-explicit-deleted's. Probably the most needed song today:

That song dates back to Vietnam era and the message didn't take then and won't now. That's an unfortunate harsh reality. Most people are inherently decent but all it takes is one out a zillion.

What's really sad is that you can bet those kooks in Kansas are going to issue a statement praising the terrorist because most of his victims were either gay or gay supporters (as it was a gay bar). Some have no hearts...others have no hearts and no brains.

@FourWalls The shooter has been identified as Muslim so that brings a whole new light to the issue and the mainstream media is already downplaying that fact.

@JohnRoberts -- if they hadn't so successfully brainwashed the public with the way they treated Christians (never presenting the Wesboro "Baptist Church" as "extremists" or Jerry Falwell as a "fringe" Christian) they wouldn't have to sing "Islam is a religion of peace" every time this happens.

A man killed homosexuals in Orlando and world plays politics over it. I don't understand why world sees terrorism as a portal to play politics. The real problem is dealt with here: Government won't solve the problem. We should unite and defeat terrorism before it defeats us.
Last night I sat down with my youngest daughter and watched Walking with Dinosaurs. It’s a 2013 movie about a herd of Pachyrhinosaurus—four-ton, four-footed herbivores up to 26 feet long—including the runt of the litter named Patchi, his father the herd le

That is wonderful that the people of Orlando are doing that. When there is an emergency people can pull together like you wouldn't believe.

I'm just trying to follow updates on CNN.com. Apparently homophobia (which I've never understood) is being investigated as a possible motive.
