Recently I visited my niece. She has four children and two of them are working. Two at home and the youngest son is 9 years old.
Now I am confused, how I called my niece's son and daughter in English. How they call me then ?
Are you confusing too. Your nephew or niece have children also?

In English the relationship is called 'great niece' and 'great nephew' and you are their 'great uncle'. This is because you are on the same level of the family tree as their grandparents. ('Grand' and 'great' mean the same thing in this context).

You should be called Grandpa or Grand Uncle.... and they should be called "Grand niece" or "Grand nephew". The kid on the photo is cute, by the way.
