Moving on to my other countdown, I'm looking at my 25 favorite songs from the incomparable Johnny Cash. Thus far I'm highlighted his gospel side and his exceptional songwriting. Today it's more a focus on that signature sound of his.
#15: Get Rhythm
"Get a rock and roll feeling in your bones."
Perfectly blending country and rock, Cash makes everybody happy with this song. This is a song about a shoeshine boy who imparts some wisdom to the man who's getting far more than a shine. Infectious to no end, this is one of Cash's signature songs.
One of his best, too.

This is at Tex Ritters Ranch Party TV Show, I still don't know when, but somewhere around 1955-1958. Sorry 'bout that jump in middle of the solo, donät know ...

That was fabulous! Tex Ritter! I have been to his museum in Texas. Cash at his best.

Tiny Panola County, Texas was home to two Country Music Hall of Fame members: Tex Ritter and Jim Reeves.

@FourWalls I went to the Reeves memorial there also. The Ritter museum is also home of the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame. There is a Reeves section. Well worth the visit. There's a life size statue of Tex in front.
