Farmer's Markets Are Starting Up

Father's Day seems to be the trigger to start up the Farmer's Markets in our area. Do you shop them? It still bothers me that the stands don't always offer fresh fruits and veggies that they grew. It also bothers me that most markets fix prices. Prices are not cheap. Cutting out the middleman should give us customers a break in prices but instead we pay more than grocery store prices. So I grow my own.

It is still too early in the season to get local grown veggies and fruits.

We've also found that farmers' markets can be quite expensive. The quality should be better but as you say there is no middle man.
