Late Afternoon Doctor's Appointment

I have a late afternoon doctor's appointment today and I am not too happy about the timing. I much prefer to do all my "outings" in the morning as I am not so tired then. I tried to change the date and time but the receptionist told me that if I did, I would have to wait until October to get another one, as the doc is going away for a few weeks. Photo: Pixabay I have no choice but going today as I can't afford not to see my cardiologist now. Do you prefer morning or afternoon appointments yourself?

I'[d rather go in the morning before they have time to get too far behind schedule.

Thanks Abby @AbbyGreenhill, I just deleted the extra post. Not my fault, there was a glitch and it said "error", so I posted it again.

Afternoon. I do not like to get out early in the day. I'm a putterer and like to take my time. It's noon and I need to leav for a family gathering at 2:30 and that is perfect.

If I had my way I would say no appointments with the doctor unless she is pretty in which case I would prefer an evening appointment. Just kidding . I guess evening appointment after your day is over is better than starting your day with knowing what's wrong with you.

@zap, I don't think so, it is harder to sleep that night knowing the bad news.

@zap_81 And who said that you would sleep restfully after bad news?

@marlina so you prefer to start your day with the bad news. Think about it the whole day and then carry it to your sleep. I would prefer to sleep over it and start the next day with a fresh state of mind.

@marlina Exactly.Even when we have an appointment for a fixed time,we do not get to see the doctor at the appointed time-especially in the morning.

Mine is only at 4:15 P.M. this afternoon, first the EKG and then the consultation with my cardiologist. That will run pretty late as his waiting room is always FULL.
