Ghost VS Tomato

Having very fair skin can be a good thing, but it can also be a very painful thing.
I have German and Irish in my family genes, which lead to two types of skin colors, white as a ghost and if I'm out in the sun for more than 20 minutes then red as a tomato.
I have always loved being pale, regardless of being made fun of. But I will never forget hating being sunburned so easily!
Am I the only one who has this problem? Lol, I hope not.

My stepfather was once a redhead and he has very pale skin. Don't get me started on his easily sunburned skin lol!! I love pale skin

Eh, we still get freckles. So we're not 100% white skinned.
I hate looking like a lobster in the summer though. And you'd think I would have learned by now to use sunscreen, but I always forget...

Same! Surprisingly I only have very few freckles on my arms. But very bright red hair (before I started dying it) .
Sunscreen is the last thing you really think about when you're outside having fun and enjoying yourself. You pay for it later though, but it's always worth it to me!

I was very lucky in taking after my father in the tanning department.

@Marcyaz Definitely. I'm still waiting to see if my daughter got the fair skin trait or her daddy's tan skin. It's hard to tell because she's just in between right now lol
