Is it fair to get converted to marry again?

In many parts of the world, people after having one wife, just for marrying again convert to other religions. Some religions allow polygamous marriage. The interest of the first wife and children from the wife gets jeopardised. There are many examples of these marriages.

Thanks Shohana, if the first wife divorced the husband, there are no issues. But if he that has not happened then the conversion is only a way for bypassing the religion.

Why would someone make the same mistake twice?? I don't think it is correct to have more than one wife this leads to poverty

Thanks Vijayji, famous Indian actor Dharmender converted to Islam and became Dilvar Khan. He married Hema Malini when his first wife and sons daughters were alive. Again later he converted to Hinduism.

@vijay_2016 Thanks Vijayji, dharmender did his duties for Hema Malini's children also Esha Deol and others. But there are many persons, who convert to other religion, marry again and do no duty for the first wife and children, that is bad.

I don't trust the honesty of people who convert for marriage. It's obvious that they take religion lightly, as a kind of ceremony.

Yes Robert, it is a way to bypass the tenets of the religion.
