The mail today was very interesting. The first was a booklet catalog brochure thing. It's a Christmas catalog! Nothing like getting them out early, six months to Christmas, better hurry, time is running out. It's from Coffee Products with a Christmas bulb on the cover. They sent it to the wrong person - I don't drink coffee.
The other came from our good friend in Germany, my long awaited postcard from Thelma Alberts, pictured above. Of course it's beautiful and full of the sites where she lives.
Have you started getting Christmas catalogs yet? Summer hasn't officially begun and I've gotten the first one of the year. Go figure.

Yes it is. I guess they wanted to get the jump on the season.

I think it is a bit early...but I suppose it helps people to plan financially, spread the cost....

@sueznewz2 All the banks have Christmas club accounts their members can take part in. Then I think it's October the bank sends them a check for the amount in their account so they can get presents for Christmas.

I haven't been getting many catalogs at all anymore since I've requested that they all stop. And they have. I don't have the money to spend and I'm tired of tossing everything out. So I just put a stop to them. Life is a lot easier for me that way.
