Dark clouds gathering

Hello,
Well it's June here in the UK, laughably known as 'Flaming June' due to the scorching weather it brings! This year it's going to the wettest since records began! Yesterday lunchtime I went to the shop wearing a jumper and coat and still came back to the office cold. :(
It's a week and a day until the UK referendum on whether we are to remain part of the EU. If we are to believe the campaigns from both sides, then whatever happens, we are pretty much going to suffer Armageddon! Both campaigns seem to have rushed to the bottom and predicted all manner of doom and gloom if we don't vote for their cause. World war three, decades of recession, huge tax increases, no jobs, is this all we have to look forward to?
Picture is of some dark clouds at the golf course.

Oh dear - there always seems to be dark clouds where the reshuffle of any currency is at hand. I hope that you all progress through the referendum with hope and prayers . . doesnt everything for the future hang in the balance of just that? HOPE we get through it, hope they make the right decisions, hope WWIII is prevented, hope we still have a job - hope there is some kind of silver lining in that dark cloud.
Wow when I put you under pressure, you sure deliver the goods

You are absolutely correct, and it would have been nice if either campaign could have emphasised that hope in the future. The UK is quite a depressing place at the moment, and it seems as though other countries in Europe are very worried in case we vote to leave. At least we have the England football team to lighten the mood, they always do well in tournaments...oh wait....

Great photo!
Yes, June is being unseasonable and the leave/stay campaigns are confusing and unreasonable. I recently took one of those online surveys and the result was that I was 67% for staying in. My brother took the same survey and his result was 0% for staying in! So much for the viscosity of blood and upbringing!
The lyrics of the Clash song seem singularly appropriate here:

Well I have no idea where you are in the UK but it's never that hot, and if it does go a little bit warm people bloody moan "It's too hot"
It's been nice in Plymouth this month so far.
I'm voting out, and it's about time we came out of the EU.

Lovely photo, here we've mostly had fog and cold wind, not much rain though
It's a shame neither side has anything positive to say.

The weather changes and voting seems to be on the minds of many near and far.

Thanks for sharing this wonderful photo. Based from what I had read, I think it makes more sense if UK remains part of the EU. Of course, being an outsider looking in, I'm not privy to a lot of things.
How do you feel about it? Will you vote for or against UK's inclusion in EU?

We have had some really heavy dumps of rains over the past week or so. As for the referendum Dopey Dave CaMORON has been atrocious in his handling of it threatening, scaremongering, world war three, financial ruin as you say but fails to really point out the advantages in staying. As for the £ dropping against the $ and Euro well that always happens when there is an election it is the same with the US election the $ drops.
I certainly object to Herr Merkel telling us what to do. 50% of exports go to the EU so the other 50% go to the rest of the world. All is not lost.

I'm still undecided about the referendum. However, it always rains in June. I know this because I always get a week off and we have the carnival in town ... Both are always a washout!
