Both have their dangers and both have their benefits, I'm primarily vegetarian, meaning I eat vegetarian as much as I can but I also know when I need extra protein, and listen to my body. Most vegetarians forget that they need some extra vitamins and need to take a good multivitamin in case they miss something, and I learned when I was starting out a lot of junk food is vegetarian so it was easy to eat more junk food, so I ended up gaining weight. But at the same time, I've gotten salmonella and food poisoning a few times from eating food at different places when I did eat meat, so I do think it does take some time to think about what's safer.

@polyxena i really agree with you statement that both have their benefits and dangers, But Vegetarian seems to be more preferable while travelling.

The problem I have with vegetarians is that our bodies were designed to digest meat. If you look at the Paleo diet plan, it is a LOT of meat, and some vegetables. Because the Cavemen would hunt, and eat whatever they found. They would gather vegetables, so would eat whatever they found.

I'm a non-vegetarian. I eat veggies, meat & fish.
If I only eat veggies, I easily get hungry and dizzy.

It doesn't matter as long as it is a balanced diet, you're healthy as a horse.
