Do you eat peanut butter by the spoonful? Ever now and then I give in to the urge to have a spoonful of peanut butter. Crunchy, of course. I wonder if it is because of an overwhelming need for protein. I don't know. What I do know it that it is filled with potassium, vitamin B6, and vitamin E. Not only that it is supposed to be good for diabetes and heart disease. Plus it is filling so it is also good for dieters. After listing a few of the good things about peanut butter I realize I don't need a reason to eat a spoonful of peanut butter. Just an urge.

I like peanut butter from time to time although we don't have it in the house. I am the only one who likes it so I usually get my fix when we visit my sister.

@HazySue It's awful if you crave something but you can't have it.

@rina110383 many people do. I like it on bread too, with a touch of jam.

I really enjoy peanut butter so every now and then I do have a spoonful of it. It has some iron in it which is good because I have anemia.

@LovingMyBabies I guess it's better for you in more ways than I though. A sort of one-size-fits-all type of energizer.

I must be one of the few people on this planet who've never even tasted peanut butter. It wasn't around in England when I was a child, and I've just never bought it.
