Writing to interest other people.

I have been looking back over the discussions I started since mylot reinvented itself. At first things were looking pretty good. Quite a few people seemed to be interested in the topics I introduced and participated. I will admit that I take spells when I don't show up here but when I start up again I usually start by responding to others discussions. After I do that awhile I will start a discussion of my own. Without the ability to let others know I have started a discussion I fear very few see them. Or maybe I am not writing about things that interest other people. It's okay though. I enjoy reading the discussions of others and sometimes I have something to offer on the subject they are talking about. But it really seems like things have slowed down here lately. I know this sounds like a pity party but that is not really how I meant it to come across. I am just trying to find a way of interesting a greater number of people.

I love to write here.
to have a large number of comments in your discussions you have to attract them with an interesting theme.
and somehow sometimes things do not get with the discussions and sometimes not.
so just let things happen by themselves.

That's pretty much what I try to do. I have one friend here that has a knack for creating titles that catch your interest. Most times the titles are a play on words and don't really reflect what the topic is about. Someone else started a complete nonsense discussion and everyone loved it. I tend to want to write about things I know which most literature teachers say you should do, but that doesn't seem to work so well for me here. However, I will keep trying and I will eventually find my niche.
