Effective July 1, 2016, Mayor Digong Duterte will act as the new President of Philippines. Mayor Duterte had been emphasizing during his campaign that he will resolve the problems related to drugs and crime within the first 6 months of his term. This is very promising to imagine since drugs and crime are very rampant in Philippines. As of this now, Mayor Duterte is acting on its on, boycotting the media, battle of words with the CBCP, not to mention his language in which this produces a positive and a negative effect to his image. As far as you have observed today, do you think it is realistic that Mayor Duterte can solve the crime and drugs of this country for just 6 months? Will this make our country a war zone?

From what I have read in the media he seems quite a character. I think there's definitely going to be changes to the country not only on the crime issues but also other political issues as well. It looks like it's going to be a interesting and exciting time when he assumes office!
