Once, the radio was a big invention. Listening to the radio was the way people had to acceed to news or to know how a football match was going on. But now, with all the technologies, do you still listen to the radio?

I used to like Clear Channel stations with talk radio programs. I no longer get them very well because Mexican language stations use the same airwaves and mess up the clear channel programs. It might be a minute of Mexican programming and a minute of talk radio and back to Mexican. So they have ruined radio for me.

@Meramar It is illegal for them to use those frequencies but I don't think they care.

You should write to the FCC and complain about the Mexican language stations. Chances are not all of them are licensed.

The only sport I sometimes listen on radio is football. Otherwise, I rather prefer to watch it on TV.

I do listen to my local station in the morning. I enjoy the familiar radio personalities it is a good way to wake up to someone familiar and I enjoy the local news. When I am writing, I will listen to Iheart radio or music tracks on YouTube. I have to keep the distraction down and I can match the music to the mood of the chapter I am writing. I grew up listening to the radio and I am glad to still have it with so much variety. Thanks for the great thought provoking post :-)

Yes, in the car on the way to or from work, a 20minute commute each way. It is a way to catch up on events, or to lose yourself in a piece of music for a few minutes.

There are times that I still listen to the radio. Listen to different stations about stories of different people about life and love how each of them conquer to solve their problems with a positive approach. Listen to old songs that are still popular in our generation that really soothes the heart with warm and cool feeling.

As the developing of science and technology, something will disappear. We wrote letters to each other before, but now,we could communicate via computer ,phone at any time. At the same time, we just lose some history , so I think radio is also a very important lifestyle, which has his own feature.

Sometimes I miss those times when we still wrote letters. It was really exciting waiting for a letter in answer to our one or for a postcard. In my childhood, I collected stamps which I recieved by the letters.

I listen to the radio on occasion but for a very short time. For many years I had the radio on constantly but now the internet has taken its place.

I listen to the radio almost every day, while on the way to work and home again, or whenever I ride in the car. Of course, it's usually XM/Sirrius radio these days.
