Thunder and Lightning is fascinating

Moments ago, we had some quite strong thunder and lightning and it seems like we will be having some thunderstorm tonight. My kids weren't frightened though, in fact, we are quite fascinated. Ended as a little science lecture from me. Explaining why lightning comes first before thunder. There's just always something interesting that you can teach kids that will make it fascinating for them and good thing is that they don't get scared too! :)
