I've Decided What to Eat Today

Have you seen it? On the sidebar, making my mouth water and telling me 'You must make this!' Deviled eggs of course.
So in a little while I'll get out the eggs and a sauce pan and get my eggs started. They are so yummy, and that video is making me hungry for them, but then that is their sole intent after all.
What do you put in your deviled eggs?
I make mine with Miracle Whip - definitely not Helman's. Can't stand that mayo. Then a little mustard, not much, and a pinch of paprika. I don't put a lot into them, but I'm always looking for ways to perk them up, oh and I do use Mrs. Dash seasonings - Garlic and Herb and maybe some Onion and Herb as well.
So that will be one thing I'll eat today, and then that video won't have anymore power over me.
What's on your menu today? Thanks for reading.

We put a bit of horseradish in our deviled eggs. Makes them have a bit of a bite to them. I love them this way. Horseradish with roast beef is really good too. Our menu has ham and cheese with avocado slices, cottage cheese and grapes and strawberries. Yum!

@just4him .....I think it brings out the flavor of things and I like the bite. I think that things like this help with the digestion as well.

@celticeagle I've heard that about horseradish. My father loved horseradish, but I never did, however, I did try it in something several years ago and liked it. So I might get it again.

@Jessicalynnt I ate almost all I made, but not all at once. I gave everyone a chance to have some, but my son only had half, my grandson didn't want any so in order not to waste them, I ate them all 9.5 eggs. I won't be making anymore for a while.

I've always used mayo for my deviled eggs, but I currently only have Miracle Whip in the fridge. Now that you suggested it, I think I might try making some deviled eggs with Miracle Whip and see how I like it!

@moffittjc They were, and who knows, I might make more today. Though it's a boiler outside so I don't know if I want to heat up the house by cooking.

You have given me an idea, I have extra eggs and we love deviled eggs. I add a little whipped salad dressing to my deviled eggs and a dab of mustard, sometime chopped pickles, and always a little lemon pepper. What do eggs cost up your way. It was only a couple of month ago that ours cost $2.75 per dozen, but for the last few weeks they are .69 I bought several dozen before the prices go up again.Time for lots of egg dishes.

You make hard boiled eggs, cut in half and scoop out the yoke. Then you mix it with mayo or Miracle Whip and seasonings of your choice as mentioned above and serve. It's easy and very good.

I can't remember the last time I had deviled eggs. Britt and I both loved them way too much! lol So far today I've had some corn flakes and coffee for breakfast and a huge salad with some slices of leftover chicken for lunch. Not sure what I'll make for dinner later.

I didn't know it was less fattening. That makes it an even better choice. Lots of people like that other mayo, so it's good there's an option.
