Another House call...not mine

Well I will have to say one thing is I could never find a traveling vet before any where but here. Coco needed the expression , nails clipped and the itch problem looked at. but daughter hardly has time to take me to the doctor. so I called around and guess what? I found a vet to come out to the house here. So Coco got all fixed up today. ever thought that possible? I won't get any more. it was a one time thing from my insurance. Coco's house call did cost me a good bit though. 155. bucks but she is worth it plus she got pills for her itch and antibiotic and the rabies shot.

the only vet 'round here that makes house calls'd be fer big critters - horses'n cattle. jest the "farm charge" 's $100, with the rest tacked'n. yepperz, we do what's needed when possible to ensure our furbabies're tended to proper.

that's pretty good for farmers. I imagine they will also look at a pet when they are there. my uncles vet used to check the little dogs also when he came to check the cows. it was just a surprise I could find one not only for farmers.

That's how we love our pets . They are like our children that needs to be given medical treatment when needed .

You found an answer but at a cost. dear little Coco is certainly worth it. Vets here are outrageously expensive - $160 bucks to have Ben groomed and it leaves him cold and so itchy.

We had a vet back in Ontario who would look at some of our hobby farm animals if he was in the area. It is not unusual for them to pay house calls to the farming community.

I had heard of it for farmers but didn't know for sure I could get it for just one pet. I guess that is why it is expensive. not many do it

I meant mine was one time when I got a house call a while back sorry I never seem to post things where they are easily understood. the vet can come back in 2 weeks to check on her. not sure I can afford it though.
