I was roused from sleep from a snoring sound last night, and I thought it was my husband who created that sound. But no, I observed our pet dog sleeping below my side of the bed, and it was he who was snoring! I was amused at my discovery that dogs do snore. Sometimes he could also be dreaming because he made sounds like when he is in a playful mood. Do you also observe such unique characters from your dogs or other pets?

@acelawrites I can only say that in the case of my dog it was true. She never seemed to snore when she was young.

I haven't observed our dog that snores. Our pig used to snore so loudly, even much louder than a person.

My littler dog a part bull dog snores and sometimes wakes me now that I let her sleep in the bed with me. My bigger dog part lab does not snore at all but our older cat snores really loud also and sometimes the cat and dog sound like a duet with their snoring.

You have many guard dogs. Ours is just a pet, a small breed, so we keep it inside our house and let it out in the morning or when we take it for a walk.

Now your husband has something else he can blame on the dog.

I thought it was unusual for a dog to snore. We had dogs before but they do not snore, or maybe I had not observed them doing it, unlike our pet dog now who sleeps inside our bedroom.

I never saw my horse dream (or snore), but I've seen dogs do both. Heh.

Well I don't have any pet but one I think I can surely make ou that it would be so cute moment to see them snoring and suddenly realising that their sound is being recorded so they wake up..We Humans are also the same

That is true, if pets could only record their master's snoring, it would be so funny!
