Still Dark and Cloudy...

It was raining the whole of yesterday, and today the sky is still dark and cloudy, it could be raining again anytime. So, yesterday I was lazing around at home. It is always good to be under the roof when the rain is so heavy outside, just do not feel like going anywhere. I was playing some online games, relaxing, doing nothing much... What would you do when you spend the day at home? I have my doggie clinging on to me the whole day as she is afraid of rain especially when there are lightning and thunder. Does most dogs frighten of lightning and thunder? Just wondering.

They do not. But, if there is any typhoon or storm likely to come then can sense it.

@Chungshop They are like always on protecting mode. They wake you up to let you know that something is around... or asking you to catch something for them... LOL.

My two dogs always bark at night when something is around and wake me up. My place is at country side.

Today is raining too, outside is wet and feel lazy. Just thinking of food for dinner , we have bitter gourd soup today only. No shopping. Rains kill really.

Soup on a rainy day is real enjoyment . When outside is cold and windy, having hot soup in the house is yummy.

When i'm at home, i usually stay in my room -- watch TV, play games, surf online, watch movies, etc. It was gloomy the whole day here too and it rained twice this afternoon. I just cuddled with my nephew for a while until he went to sleep.

Looks like it is the rainy season... been raining for the last couple of days. Easily fall asleep on this kind of weather.

Yeah... she is just too afraid of the rain and she will stop all activity, keep still, and focus on listening to the rain drop sounds.

@bloglog haha. some dogs are.. but it's same like us humans.. how they are raised decides their ability sometimes.

Read a novel, explore new songs or listen to the ones that I already have. I just love rains. It's like they have a soothing effect. And then a good novel or song just adds to it's charm. I don't know anything about dogs. Wish I had one too!

This sounds so great. I love the rain too, only if I do not need to step out of the house. It will be an enjoyment with these quiet moments with the sound of the rain... and probably accompanied with a bowl of hot soup.
