Literature is an interesting subject for it serves as a mirror of our own tradition, culture, and belief. We have been surrounded by it in every single day of our lives. It comes in different genre, can be fiction or that which is based on imagination or non-fiction materials or those that are based on facts.
I have been fond of reading fictions. Novels, short stories, epics, tales, comics – those are the materials that give me pleasure after a long day at work. I sometimes see myself as one of the characters that I am reading and that what makes me nailed on my seat whenever I am reading. In fact, I remember that I always get excited whenever I shared what I read to my best friend while we were walking along the dusty road on our way home.

Reading like travelling is therapeutic. I would love to read another novel written by Paulo Coelho soon. Do you have a favorite author for the novels you have been reading?

Reading books has many benefits. I have that addiction in reading since I was a kid. Whenever mom cannot see me around in the house, she will automatically have an idea that I am reading books in my room.

@silvermist I have seen that you are from India. I love literatures from India a lot. I enjoyed the Mahabharata and Ramayana when I was still in college.

I have seen some people getting fond of reading horror and ghost stories. I think you are very brave enough to read those. Do you read those kinds before you sleep at night?

I love history books except the dates. I love learning about places and I appreciate history more when I started to travel.

I like reading fantasy and fiction, though I don't restrict myself to these. I often just walk around a store and buy whatever catches my fancy.

It feels great to see a book that you want and have the money to purchase it. Sometimes, I just prefer to download it if I can have it for free.
