Are we born Introvert or is it just the Circumstances?

I remember when I was a child and I used to go to the park, I used to be very shy and hesitated to talk to anyone new. Whereas, when I now see kids, they are chirpy and full of confidence. Even now, although I don't mind talking to anyone new or talking to too many people but the truth is, at the end of the day, all I want to do is just spend some time alone.

It isn't about nowadays but it is just an inbuilt thing. Even i am an introvert and i do hesitate to speak up to strangers. I need time to mix up well with others whereas a friend of mine is extrovert and she doesn't even feel awkward to say hello to someone she haven't even seen before!

Even I think so. I guess I'm just born an introvert!

One can't ignore the world they live in and it likely impacts your development. But you are who you are and should not apologize for your unique personality traits and characteristics. Although ... if you have a bad temper or are inconsiderate of others, etc., you might want to make some adjustments. Otherwise, you'll find that neither family or friends want to be around you. Having raised several children I can say that they each came out (were born) with a different personality. Some shy and quiet. You have to approach them. Some confident and outgoing. They usually approach others. But regardless of the personality type, they managed to find a way to get along in this world. Who doesn't want to have some time alone?

Everyone has some level of introversion and extraversion. Perhaps yours is more on the introversive part. But as people grow older, they tend to become more agreeable. It's not a bad thing to be introversive. Some people just like to be with themselves and the few people they may be with. Also, introversion is half in-born and half from outside circumstances. There are things you are born with that makes you like being alone better. Some experiences may also make you want to shy away. But like I said, there is nothing wrong with being an introvert. It's what you are.

I think I was born an introvert. Even when I was young I was that way. I took a Meyers Briggs test and was told I ranked as high on the introvert scale as they've seen.
