My son is not a sissy

We went to visit my wife's 94 year old grandmother today in the rehab center and there were not many seats so my ten year old son sat on my lap. Grandma told him he looked like a sissy and to knock it off. I told her she was wrong and did not make him move. He is still my little boy and if it was a girl she wouldn't have said anything. I know being called a sissy hurt my son's feelings but I also know she will never apologize.

Children are always same. You should not see difference in boy or girl. Old peoples will be like that always. They might said that to the benefit of your son. Be positive. Enjoy.
